Hardware Fit Is Everything
Vape hardware isn't standardized. A 510 cart from one manufacturer has different dimensions than a 510 cart from another. Disposable pens vary even more. Your box has to fit your specific hardware. We don't do generic boxes. We engineer the insert tray to your cart's exact dimensions.
The insert tray is what makes a vape box work. We die-cut EVA foam trays for premium products. We do molded pulp for eco brands. We do plastic blister inserts for budget products. The tray holds the cart in place so it doesn't rattle, doesn't shift, and doesn't get damaged in shipping. A loose cart in a box is a damaged cart.
CR Locking for Vape Boxes
In states that require CR packaging for vape products, the box itself has to be child resistant. We use two mechanisms. First, a push-tab release on a flip box. Push the tab, open the lid. Certified and simple.
Second, a slide-and-lock design where the inner tray locks until a tab is pressed. This is for slider boxes and it's popular with premium vape brands because it feels mechanical and secure. Both pass 1700.20.
For disposables, the box shape changes. A disposable pen is longer and wider than a 510 cart. We design custom shapes to fit. Rectangular boxes work for most disposables. Sleeve boxes work for slim pens. We'll spec the right format for your hardware.
Printing is the same quality as our pre-roll boxes. Offset CMYK, spot colors, foil, embossing. The box for a $50 vape cart should look like it costs $50. We make sure it does.
