The exit bag must be completely opaque and child-resistant. If the bag punctures from internal sharp corners (glass jars, boxes), the CPSC certification is compromised. The 5.0-7.0 mil thickness prevents internal punctures that would fail the bag's child-resistant certification during the 10-minute child testing panel.
