One Piece, Two Functions
A shrink sleeve does two things at once. It brands your product with 360-degree print coverage, and it provides tamper evidence. When the customer tears the perforated tab, they know the product hasn't been opened. When the sleeve is intact, they know it's sealed. One piece. Two functions. No separate tamper seal needed.
The perforation is the engineering. A poorly placed perforation tears wrong. It shreds instead of peeling. It leaves residue. Our perforations are micro-perforated with a laser guide that ensures a clean tear every time. The tab lifts, the sleeve peels, and the product is ready. No tools needed.
Film Types and Applications
PETG is our standard film. It shrinks at 150 degrees Fahrenheit, it prints beautifully, and it conforms to complex shapes. It's the best all-around shrink film we've found. It works on bottles, jars, tubes, and boxes.
PVC is the budget option. It shrinks at a lower temperature, which means faster production. The print quality is slightly softer than PETG. It's fine for simple designs. We use it for high-volume, low-margin products.
OPS is the eco option. It's biodegradable and it shrinks cleanly. The print quality is good but not as sharp as PETG. For brands that lead with sustainability, OPS is the right story.
For tamper-evident bands specifically, we can do a full sleeve or a partial band. A full sleeve covers the entire container and gives you full branding. A partial band covers just the cap or lid and provides tamper evidence without obscuring your product. Both have a perforated tab. Both tear clean.
Application is simple. The sleeve goes over the container, passes through a heat tunnel, and shrinks to fit. We'll provide the shrink curve data for your packaging line so your operator can dial in the temperature and belt speed.
