Thickness and Structure
Seven grams of dense flower is heavy enough to stress a thin bag. We use 4.5 mil at minimum for quarters. The bottom gusset needs to be reinforced because that's where the weight sits. Cheap quarter bags blow out at the bottom seam when they're dropped or stacked. We reinforce every bottom seal.
CR options are the same as our other sizes. Push-turn zipper, squeeze-pull, or slide lock. All certified. All resealable. Your customer opens it, takes what they need, and seals it. The bag lives on their shelf for a week or two, so the zipper has to keep working.
For brands doing quarter bags with a window, we do it. But we recommend a small window, not a full-panel clear front. UV light degrades cannabis. A big window looks great on the shelf and destroys your product in a week. Keep the window small and put it where the light hits the label, not the flower.
